Who Wants a Hug?

Packaged inside these adorable rectangular glassine envelopes (item #117227, $5.95) are 6 Hugs - Sending Love Notes (item #118778, $4.95).

These were made for a door prize at my recent Stampin' Up! Workshop.

You get 20 Hugs per package and each one measures 2 1/4" x 4".

I used a clear mount Hostess Level 1 stamp set, called Picture This from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

These little cards would make perfect gift tag or even lunch box notes.  The recipient will treasure your hug for a long time to come.

I used the Pawsitively Prints designer paper on each Hug. 

The small patterns added to the cute factor, don't you think?

Simply cut cardstock to 3 1/2" x 11", then score at 4 1/2" and 6 1/2"

Eye Candy (get ready to drool)

Stampin' Up! recently offered these two tools to Demonstrators.  The top one is a ribbon sampler and the bottom is a designer series paper (DSP) sampler.  Each holds a sample of each product from the catalog. 

Both of these tools are not only useful to make purchasing decisions, they are also beautiful eye candy!  How cool to feel, see and even match ribbons to paper. 

I can't stop staring at each piece of ribbon and flipping through to see the paper that isn't already in my personal collection.  NOTES TO SELF:  Must order Holiday Lounge DSP and Elegant Eggplant 1/4" Grosgrain (to coordinate with my Cast-a-Spell DSP).

"Best Ever" B-Day Bash

Here's a sneak peek into my B-Day Bash Class taking place locally in June and remotely using a "to go" option.  View individual card shots in My Kreations Gallery.  Be sure to click on each image to enlarge.

I received my Best Ever Simply Scrappin' Kit in the mail yesterday.  I quickly got to work making 6 of the 12 cards I plan to include in my class.

I barely made a dent in the paper and die cuts - even after making 6 cards (using only kit contents)!!  These are some of the easiest, quickest, and cutest cards I've made to date.

Ears to a Happy Hostess!

This bunny box is a shameless CASE (copy and share for everyone).  But when I saw the original, by my Aunt Mary, I couldn't resist making one of my own.

I used the round box template to create this adorable little treat holder.  You can see my other round box Kreation here.  This is an easy project and showcases Stampin' Up!'s designer paper so well.

On this box, I used Sale-a-Bration paper, which by the way I earned for FREE!!  It is called Delicate Dots.  The colors are so soft and springy. 

This Saturday, I am demonstrating at a workshop and we'll be making this project.  I have some treats up my sleeve for the people attending.  It's going to be lots of fun!

Berry Bliss

Over the last few weeks I was having a Blog Candy Extravaganza - which has now ended.  But one of the questions I asked was "What is your favorite Stampin' Up! color combination?"

One answer I received was Pretty in Pink and Chocolate Chip (thank you for the idea, Krista!).  Last night I needed a birthday card for my Mother-In-Law and decided to try out the pink and brown idea.

Pulling out some now retired, Berry Bliss designer series paper, I went with the colors Pretty in Pink and Close to Cocoa. 

The big yummy cupcake stamp is called "Simple Birthday Thanks".  I used a Hostess Level III rub-on for the sentiment (from the Spring/Summer Idea Book & Catalog).  TIP:  Earn this and other free stamp sets and Stampin' Up! merchandise by hosting a workshop or catalog party.

Bee Surprised

Today's Kreation titled "Bee Surprised" was completed for the Try a New Technique challenge (TLC172).  You can find a tutorial on how to make the surprise pop-up card by clicking TLC172 above. 

I started this card by trying to use the “blades of grass” stamp from Papertrey Ink’s Honey Bees collection as a tree branch.  It was inked up in Stampin’ Up!’s Chocolate Chip and the flowers were inked in Regal Rose.  My Bee was also done in Chocolate Chip with his bee-hind colored in with a Stampin’ Write marker in Summer Sun.

It turned out much better than I imagined, I've had this idea Buzzing around in my head for a while now.  So, I am glad I finally went with my vision to turn grass into a tree.  The Regal Rose flowers get a bit of bling with some summery yellow rhinestones. 

This card is made for my readers!  A BIG thank you for visiting my blog, commenting on my posts, and for all the positive feedback I have received.  I love what I do and having support from all of you makes it that much sweeter (sweet as honey, in fact).
