I'm VERY impressed & VERY excited about the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps.
I admit I'm not a baker, but I was instantly drawn to this new product. As soon as it was advertised I could see so many possibilities.
My first inclination was that I could use the Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps to create fun gifts for my son's teachers & friends parents. What a great way to present a hand-made gift ... cookies AND a card all packaged up in a nice gift box, maybe? Stay tuned because that's where my mind is headed!!
I even thought that my son might like using these on play-doh (of course with a good washing in between baking OR I could purchase a second set just for him).
My mind is working over-time to come up with more ideas!

Above you'll see I stamped my Jack-o-Lantern image into a peanut butter cookie batter. Below you'll see Jack stamped in a sugar cookie batter (slighty different sizes, but I think it gives the cookies more character). Both sets of cookies were stamped directly AFTER coming out of the oven. Keep in mind, the directions state to stamp BEFORE you bake. But, I experimented a bit to see what technique gave me the best result. I personally got a better impression by stamping after vs. before. I used a Betty Crocker mix in a bag. I did not make my cookies from scratch. Ovens & I don't get along. LOL!
