Have you ever thought of paper piecing with line art stamp images?
That's just what I did here using the Greeting Card Kids stamp set by Stampin' Up! I'm not much of a watercoloring artist, but I say with confidence "I know how to cut!"

My niece, Ashlynn is turning 2 years old this week. When I was shopping for her, I couldn't resist this adorable gift bag.
I found the gift bag in Target's dollar section (score!) and decided to create a coordinating card.
I love playing with punches. This owl punch is no exception. Now ... to figure out a way to make my owl look more like a girl.
Here's my updated owl - added some eyelashes with a white gel pen. Thanks for the suggestions!
With 2011 quickly approaching, I think I'll take some advice from the Word Play stamp set...
Laughter by definition is healthy. I have some healing to do after losing my Mom in March of 2010. Hopefully lots of laughter can be a part of that process.

Where does time go?
My little baby is turning Seven on Monday. Seven! I keep asking him if he'll stay little forever and he replies "I'll always be your baby, Mommy". While that's comforting, I still want to keep him little!
Just like this - moustache and all.
Today, we'll be celebrating his birthday with family and his wee friends. We are all excited to enjoy the day. One more day for Mommy to hang on to Six years old.
