When I bought this Lots of Bots stamp set, I took a step out on a limb.
You see, this set is what I consider a line stamp set - which means what? Coloring!! Oh my word. As much as I love coloring ... with crayons, mind you ... I'm just not that fantastic of a watercolor artist.
Then it hit me. Paper piece that pretty bot body and that's what I did (along with some solid coloring). LOL.
Her ensemble consists of designer paper called Razzleberry Lemonade. It's the up and coming "hot item" at Stampin' Up! You can get your hands on this hot little number beginning July 1 - that's when the 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog comes out.
WOO HOO! I tell you, it's a beautiful book - and my wish list is growing every time I flip those pretty pages.

CURRENT STAMPIN' UP! PROMOTIONS
My baby boy Devlin (who is 5), is graduating from Pre-K tonight. I'm so proud of him - he's such a well behaved kid. While it's just a simple ceremony, I still wanted to make the night special for him.
Grandma & Grandpa will be coming to watch him graduate, and then we'll take him to his favorite restaurant for dinner. McDonald's! LOL! Inside this gift card holder lies a $15.00 gift card to Toys R Us, he is going to be so excited to have his own money to spend.
Previously, I made him this gift card holder, however - the little bugger snooped around my craft room and found it. So, I disassembled it and re-made another gift card holder using the new Lots of Bots stamp set.
I went very simple this time around - wanted to show off that little heart on the front of the robot. Devlin loves the color red (just like his Mommy) so I focused on making it as red as possible.
A great tutorial for this gift card holder, can be found at Sweet Impressions.
And now on to more BLOG CANDY!

Isn't this color combination fun?
What you are witnessing are 3 of the brand new Stampin' Up! In Colors. The card base is done in textured Crushed Curry, and the other colors used are Bermuda Bay & Soft Suede.
This little bot is from the Lots of Bots stamp set and those fun bubble looking images are from the new Circle Circus stamp set. Both are available for purchase beginning July 1, 2009.
And what about that polka-dot ribbon? It is the new Stampin' Up! grosgrain that will be out soon! It comes in all of the new In Colors. You are sure getting an eyeful of sneak peeks all wrapped up in one card!
I have made three birthday cards for my husband and this is #3. I think this one is the winner! He's a total geek and I think the bot really fits his style.
And now on to more color combos using the new In Colors. Print this handy reference tool and use it when you get your new In Colors. You'll notice that some of the current colors are here as well - so no need to wait ... you can start creating right now!
