Making the "Fresh Cut"

Today’s Kreations were completed for two Splitcoaststampers (SCS) challenges.  This double pocket bag was created for the Try a New Technique (TLC169) and Color Challenge (CC167).  You can create your own double pocket bag, by using easy to follow tutorial provided by SCS.

The coordinating cards were completed for the Color Challenge.  I used Certainly Celery, Blue Bayou & Soft Sky cardstock.  I adhered half of a “Fresh Cuts” notecard to the front of textured Blue Bayou cardstock, then mounted that to a 4" x 4" piece of Certainly Celery.  These little notecards fit perfectly inside the double pocket bag.  (Note:  The Fresh Cuts Notes are 4" x 4" as well).

Fresh Cut Bouquet

Delivered to my door yesterday afternoon in the beloved brown Stampin' Up! box was the stamp set "Fresh Cuts" (which is die cut by the way!) and the "Fresh Cuts Notes" (which are laser cut).

I quickly opened the box with the help of my excited 4 year old son.  He loves when Mommy gets Stampin' Up! deliveries.  We stamped together after opening the package as he enjoys helping me break in my new stamp sets.  After he was snuggled in bed, I got to work on this Fresh Cut bouquet.  This trio of cards fall into the category Kwik & Kool because they were so easy to create.

I simply used the large stamp inked in Rose Red, Elegant Eggplant & Always Artichoke and stamped over the laser cut flower.  I added a 3x3 piece of coordinating cardstock to the inside so that color would peek through the front.   I then used my small and large oval punches for the "For You" sentiment, mounted them on two Stampin' Dimensionals, and added the bling in the center.  Voilà!  my "Fresh Cut" bouquet was complete.
