Bright Delight rub-on's make this card purse Super Sassy!

I found this cool card purse tutorial over at Paper Pleasing Ideas a while ago.  I sat down last night around 7:00 and started creating using her directions... and here's what I came up with.  Unfortunately, there is only so much time in a day/night and I ran out of time to fill the inside. 

However, you can see a shot of the inside here.  Imagine all the cool things you can fill this with! 

What a great gift this would make...

• Fill the pockets with coordinating cards that you hand stamp
  
• Put little bottles of lotion in each pocket
• Even fill it with some Stampin' Up! accessories (ribbon, brads, etc...)
  

The possibilities go on and on.  Julie over at Paper Pleasing Ideas even came up with template for the boxes inside.

Blue, Brown and Beautiful

I have to say - this is probably the prettiest card I've made to date.

With the Valet Ribbon Originals all tied up in a bow and it's shiny Bronze Metallic cardstock glistening beneath the Baja Breeze circles ...  I can easily categorize this as a girly card.

Neither this photo or the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog, will do the Bronze Metallic cardstock justice.  So, I say - order a pack for yourself so you can see just how beautiful it is in real life!  Go for it!

TIP:  Consider splitting orders with a friend.  There are so many Stampin' Up! products that make it easy to do a share.

I created this card for a really fun Papertrey Ink Challenge.

This card turned out so much better than I imagined it in my head.  I love that little Summer Sun pear hanging off the Kiwi Kiss branch.

And those jumbo brads - well, they are just to die for.  I especially love the ones that are 5/8".

Bright Delights

Making it's debut ... drum roll please ...

Bright Delights Rub-On's!! The sentiment on this card along with the dotted stripe (on Whisper White cardstock) are both from the Bright Delights rub-on collection. 

These BRAND NEW rub-on's are fresh, fun and colorful!  The colors highlighted in this collection are Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Cameo Coral, and Basic Gray.  You can see an image snapshot below.

I started this card using the rub-on's as my inspiration point and then chose the rest of the card colors, paper, and embellishments.  The Kiwi Kiss pattern paper you see is from the Good Morning Sunshine collection (I'm getting a lot of use out of this).

The words wonderful, beautiful and perfect summarize the other Bright Delight debut.  My brother (Dustin) and sister-in-law (Jessica) brought Ashlynn into the world on Monday.  She's the third addition to their family. 

So, this card will be given to Dustin & Jessica to express my joy in becoming an Aunt again.  I have another baby card to share tomorrow - I couldn't make just one.

Who's Comin' to Town?

Santa!!

Today's Kreation is a quick one that uses Stampin' Up!'s rub-on's in a creative way.  I used the Word Flurries collection (item #111417) on some wide Real Red grosgrain ribbon.

There were only five reindeer in the sleigh rub-on, so I chose to cut the portion of the names off and use Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, and Comet.  I guess Cupid and Blitzen had the night off. 

I also created this paper bow, something I tried for the first time. 

Customize your gift packaging by creating your own bows!  For mine, I used some Ski Slope Designer Series Paper.
