I discovered the option to create a journal through My Digital Studio. You design the front & back covers (even customize the spine) and Stampin' Up! does the rest when you upload your project through their printing services.

I thought it would be fun to title it "deep thoughts" - I have a very sarcastic sense of humor and it reminded me of the Jack Handey skits on Saturday Night Live.  Time goes so fast, don't miss out on the little things.  Keeping a journal of your daily memories (even if it's just a few words), will be something you & your family treasure for a lifetime.

Memories of the Summer

Two of my favorite people pictured beside me at my favorite place in Madison:  Olbrich Botanical Gardens.  

My son, Devlin & I spent many sunny days at Olbrich this summer - so many that we became members this year.  The weekend before my husband set off to Europe, we went together, as a family.  We don't get many opportunities to capture our family in photographs - I am happy to have this one to seal the memory of the day.

I used My Digital Studio to create this simple 12 x 12 page in a flash.  I purchased the Beau Chateau designer series paper & the Beau Chateau Embellishments downloads to help complete the page.

One thing I really love about My Digital Studio is the ability to change things with a click of a button.  At first, I had some Pretty in Pink Ribbon running along the bottom of the page - but that made my page "too girly".  So, with a few clicks of the mouse, I was able to switch out the ribbon to Soft Suede.  All without having to throw anything away!  I love that!

I added a bit of whimsy by using one of the bumble bee embellishments for my "O" in the word Memories.  Don't be afraid to personalize your pages - make them unique.  I hope this page encourages you to try My Digital Studio.
