I am loving this mod print from the Walk in the Park Designer Series Paper (DSP) collection.
Pairing this printed paper with Splitcoaststampers sketch #220, was a perfect fit. Modern layout + modern paper = marvelously modern card.
This is a no stamping required card as well. The images you see here are from the Summer Love Rub-On's collection (released April 1 in the Occasions Mini Catalog - same with the DSP).
Because I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was able to pre-order from the Occasions Mini Catalog. It is so exciting getting your hands on goodies before they are even released to the public - AND getting them for an additional 20% off is the icing on the cake!
PSSST... did you know there is still time for you to join Stampin' Up! and take part in the pre-order? Don't wait ... time is quickly running out. The pre-order ends March 31st!!
Visit my Be a Demonstrator page for full details. You'll see a few other surprises waiting for you there as well. Now is truly THE BEST time to become a Demonstrator.
What do you think is the best benefit to joining Stampin' Up!? I'd love to hear from you, simply leave a comment on this post or E-Mail Me.

Here's another sneak peek into the Occasions Mini Catalog (which, by the way, is released April 1).
FYI: You can pre-order select sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog right now. Download the pre-order portion of the catalog. The items you see are available for purchase right now to allow prep-time for your Easter projects.
Back to the card you see above... I used the soon-to-be-released Walk in the Park DSP. I am a designer paper fanatic and I have to say this paper is one of my all time FAVE's!! I absolutely love the modern patterns you'll find in this DSP collection.
I married the soon-to-be-released Summer Love Rub-On's, with this layout. The sentiment, butterfly and branch in the upper right corner (click to enlarge and look closely) are all rub-on's.
It rocks to be a demonstrator!! Because I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I was allowed to pre-order these items from the Occasions Mini. I get so excited when a new catalog is released.
Did you see the exciting announcement over the weekend?
If not, be sure to read up on the details here
ENDING SOON: Sale-a-Bration

Does this card scream summer or what?
OK, we haven't even reached spring yet... but all that pops into my head is the song Summer Lovin' from Grease.
Maybe it's because I used the new (not even released) Summer Love Rub-On's. These colored rub-on's are from the Occasions Mini Catalog - which will be released April 1.
The colors in this collection are Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Cameo Coral, and Basic Gray. However, I used colors from the soft subtles color family... including Pretty in Pink, Sage Shadow, and Barely Banana on this card. TIP: Mix things up! Stampin' Up! colors work so beautifully together - you don't need an exact match.
For this card, I used a sketch from the Card Positioning Systems blog. I am really trying to get back to basics and using sketches is a great way to keep things simple.
What? You want to know where I got this awesome designer paper? Well, that too is from the Occasions Mini Catalog. It's called Walk in the Park and it is drop dead gorgeous. The prints are full of flowers and really cool retro prints, I'm all over this collection!
Oh and one more thing - that circular center of the flower is one of the new Jumbo Grommets. You'll get 20 pieces (5 of each color) in Basic Black, Silver, Very Vanilla and Whisper White.
You see - being a demonstrator isn't all about selling or doing in-home workshops. It's also about loving what you do, and enjoying your hobby to the fullest. That's what I do!
Do you want to know more about being a demo? Check out this post and E-Mail Me today.
