Congratulations Butterfly

A clean & simple (or kwik & kool as I like to call it) congratulations card I made using a few of the single stamps, Butterfly Accent and Fine Flourish.  I also used the Well Scripted stamp set.

All three stamp sets are currently not available for purchase, but I'm crossing my fingers that they will appear in the 2010 - 2011 Idea Book & Catalog (released July 1, 2010).

I did use one of the old In Colors, Pacific Point, that will make it's return in the new catalog.  I am very excited about the "comeback"!!

FRIENDLY REMINDER

The colors on the chart below will be carrying over to the new catalog.

Due to high demand ... many of your favorite colors in the Fond Farewell Collection are already going on back order. 

What will happen with my favorite colors if they go on back order?

Ink Pads & Reinkers:  Orders will be filled through May to the best of Stampin' Up!'s ability and while available through June.

Card Stock:  Orders will be substituted with textured, when smooth is no longer available in your favorite color.  This includes both 8 1/2" x 11" and 12" x 12" paper.  You will not be charged extra for the textured paper replacement (should smooth not be available).

ORDER TODAY to stock up on your favorite colors before they are gone!  PLEASE E-MAIL ME if you'd like to check on back ordered colors before you place your order.

Butterfly Bouquet

I have long admired the many paper flower bouquets I've seen on the Internet.

Finally, with some recent purchases of the Big Shot, Beautiful Butterfiles Bigz Die, and Flower Folds Bigz XL die - I was able to create my own!

Cards for a New Mommy

My cousin recently had a baby boy... I decided to make her a set of thank you cards to send out for all the wonderful gifts I'm sure she'll receive.

Using the stamp sets Fox & Friends and Thank You Kindly, I quickly put together 3 styles of thank you's. 

I packaged them up inside one of Stampin' Up!'s new clear mount DVD style cases (above).  They fit perfectly inside along with envelopes all ready to mail out.

Who Wants a Hug?

Packaged inside these adorable rectangular glassine envelopes (item #117227, $5.95) are 6 Hugs - Sending Love Notes (item #118778, $4.95).

These were made for a door prize at my recent Stampin' Up! Workshop.

You get 20 Hugs per package and each one measures 2 1/4" x 4".

I used a clear mount Hostess Level 1 stamp set, called Picture This from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

These little cards would make perfect gift tag or even lunch box notes.  The recipient will treasure your hug for a long time to come.

I used the Pawsitively Prints designer paper on each Hug. 

The small patterns added to the cute factor, don't you think?

Today is Christmas Eve and I am spending quality time with my family.  I hope you are doing something enjoyable with your family, friends or even getting some quality "me" time.

This card was created for my Step-Daughter's 14th Birthday.  I really like how the paper piercing turned out.

Thank You Beary Much

My first attempt using aqua painters went fairly well.  I still need a lot of practice creating watercolor creations, but overall I'm happy with my first try.

This card was stamped on watercolor paper using Staz On black ink.  I then used aqua painters to color my bear and flower image.

My son & I sat side by side in my stamping room, both of us coloring a Build a Bear image from Beary Best Friends.  Unfortunately, I didn't get to snap a photo of his artwork - as he packaged it up for Grandma very quickly.

The designer paper you see is from the new Pawsitively Prints collection found in the 2009-2010 Holiday Mini Catalog.

Just a quick post today - it's been a tiring weekend and I'm off to bed early.
