• This week's challenge is a K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple, Sweetie)

What exactly is a K.I.S.S creation?

One that is clean with lots of 'white' space, simple in design, takes a short amount of time to create, and has limited layers & embellishments.  I categorize these cards as Kwik & Kool on my website.

• Upload to Pals Paper Arts by Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009 (Noon CST)

For my K.I.S.S. submission I created small favors for my Thanksgiving table.  These were created using the Two Tags die, Trendy Trees & Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets and Fresh Favorites I buttons.

 

Inside each Autumn Meadows wrapped treat is an Andes mint, perfect for after dinner.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family & friends.  This year is a special one for me as I host my family at our home.  My Mom is venturing out today to come enjoy the big meal and of course, my Step-Dad, my Dad, Brother, Sister-in-Law and their 3 kids will be right here too.

I am extremely grateful to have my family all in one spot this year.

Welcome to the Holiday Hop (Part II)

Giving Thanks for MOJOMARY

I am honored to say that I know Mary - as in MOJOMARY, i.e., Stampin' Pretty, aka my Aunt Mary Fish, otherwise known as my friend.

Mojo Monday turned 100 last week and several of the designers came up with their own sketch.  I didn't get a chance to play along until the grand finale, but what a finale it was!

Using this sketch, I broke out my Autumn Meadows designer series paper. 

You will find this paper in the Holiday Mini catalog, released September 1, 2009.

Beautiful colors such as Chocolate Chip, Really Rust, More Mustard, Taken with Teal, and Very Vanilla fill this paper pack. 

I'm so ready for Fall to begin - it's my favorite season of the year.
