This is my Mom.
The top left photo is my favorite of her and the middle photo is my husband's favorite. The reason we like these photos is because she wasn't wearing one of her wigs. It's just her shining through the cancer.
A few of these photos are from her first wig fitting and of her friends showing their support of breast cancer with pink hair. The image on the second page - upper left was taken after her hair grew back the first time after chemo treatment. She chose that photo for her obituary ... it showed off her great smile. Which, I've been told, I've inherited from her - a little piece of my Mom to have forever.
She was all about enjoying the little things. So, this sentiment fits this page perfectly.

Wow Kris I see a lot of resemblance to your Mom in you. Definitely your smile! Was she as quirky as you? Beautiful tribute Kris.

It's so important to capture "the little things." These photos remind me of how fun and sweet she was. Personally, I like the long, blonde wig photo because she's at her max in silliness! Hugs, M
