I lost my Mom to a battle with inflammatory breast cancer on Sunday, March 7, 2010.
At this time, I do not have the words to express my grief. Nor do I have the energy to go into much detail about the gorgeous card that Mary Fish created for me to post today. Unfortunately, I wasn't prepared with a project of my own to share with you.
Mary is my Aunt, friend and Sister-in-Law to this beautiful woman pictured below ... She used a stamp set that will be featured in the new Stampin' Up! catalog, called Awash with Flowers.
Thank you, Mary for "going to bat" for me in this time of loss, for both of us.
More inspiring
ideas await you at Tricia Gillam's blog, Soul Stamper, stop number 10 on the PALS

I'm so sorry! Please know I'll be thinking of you. I also want you to know how much of an inspiration you are to me. You're SO creative. I look forward to seeing your creativity return , as you recover from such a difficult loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I lost my mom just over 3 months ago to cancer and will only say just rely on the support group around you. One day at a time....

Kris: I received the news about your loss from Mary and my heart immediately broke for you. I can't even image how overwhelmed with sadness your heart must feel at this time. Know that the love and support you gave your mother during her final journey allowed her to pass with dignity and love. Please take this time to mourn your mother's loss and to begin your healing process. I will keep you in my prayers.

Kris, I'm so sorry for your loss. April 30th will mark the one year anniversary since I lost my own Mother. You'll never get over this, but you will get through it. The best advice I received is to just keep placing one foot in front of the other. Time will pass and the healing process is different for everyone. Your Mom is only as far away as your own heart. God's blessings to you.

What a beautiful card Mary! That is a such an inspiring sympathy card. I would not have even thought of that quote in this setting, but it is perfect. I love the bright colors to match. They seem to match Karol's spunky spirit.
Both Kris and Mary- I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. HUGS!
