Just playing around with My Digital Studio again...

This time I used the same photo of my Mom that I used for her party favors.  I used the My Sweet Pea digital download for the background paper and felt leaves.

My Digital Studio (Favors)

Using a photo of my Mom as a child, I created these customized birthday favors using My Digital Studio (MDS).

I simply added the photo to a page in MDS, then inserted white cardstock and added text on top of the cardstock. 

I exported the finished photo as a JPG file, printed it out, added it to my pink favor box, and adhered a half back pearl from the Pretties Kit to create the look of an earring.

Everyone LOVED how these turned out - they were so easy to create and so fun to present at the table. 

Below you'll see a photo of the ladies who lunched with my Mom on her special day.  She sure has a great support group!

My Krafty Valentine

The other night, I was playing around with some non-traditional ideas for Valentine's Day cards. 

I came up with these two cards using Kraft cardstock, my favorite card base.  I was going for a denim look above. 

Below, you'll see I combined the flower stamp image with the heart, creating my own custom-made image.  This is easy to do with Stampin' Write Markers.

Both cards use the stamp set "Hello Again".  This set is versatile, cute, and best of all - affordable.

I created this set of 4 Valentine's love notes... each on 3" x 3"  piece of Stampin' Up! In Color cardstock.  The colors I used here (left to right) are Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo.

I used the fan and typewriter image from Puns from the Past stamp set, inked with matching Color Stampin' Write markers.  On the inside you'll see I stamped the sentiment to make the image.
