Dusty Durango

Simple, clean & modern finishes my Parade of In Colors with a bang!

This card and coordinating envelope fall into my Kwik & Kool category - it took me less than 15 minutes to create from start to finish.  I used two different stamp sets on the card - Deams Du Jour and Razzle Dazzle. 

I stamped one of the Razzle Dazzle images (using my stamp-a-ma-jig) on Whisper White cardstock to customize the inside of my envelope. 

Here's how I did it:

• Trimmed the stamped cardstock (liner paper) to 5 3/4" x 5"
• Inserted liner paper into the envelope so that it just barely overlaps the closure
• Adhered the envelope closure to my liner paper
• Removed the excess liner paper from the envelope closure using a hobby blade. 
  

There you have it, a pretty matching envelope!  The best part is - you can create whatever kind of envelope you choose.  Line them with designer paper, colored cardstock (textured would be cool), or even stamp your own liner paper like I did.
