Bermuda Bay bangs its drum on day three of the Parade of In Colors.
"Reminiscent of tropical beaches and playful afternoons in the water, Bermuda Bay is ideal for all kinds of cool and breezy projects"
~ Quote taken from the July 2009 Stampin' Success
Well, here it is - the 3rd day of my In Color parade. The line up has changed slightly so I could share with you an exciting announcement on June 29th.
What you see above is a tribute to the new Bermuda Bay In Color. Again I used the two stamp sets Sweet Stems & Dreams du Jour as I did on my previous cards. See them both by scrolling down or viewing my card gallery.
I used this sketch provided by Card Positioning Systems (CPS) to create this card. Whenever I see a wide open space in a sketch, I think of either Designer Series Paper (DSP) OR making my own DSP.
I chose the latter option using my Sweet Stems stamp set. With the help of the stamp-a-ma-jig, I was able to use one of the images to create this fun Bermuda Bay patterned DSP.
Below is a comparison of Bermuda Bay against four current Stampin' Up! colors. Colors from left to right are as follows: Bermuda Bay, Taken with Teal, Tempting Turquoise, & Sage Shadow.
The countdown is here - on July 1 the new 2009-2010 Idea Book & Catalog is released. I have copies set to arrive at my house this Thursday.
Want one of your very own? Contact Me to pre-order yours for only $9.00 (including two day shipping).
