This Kreation was made for a challenge between my fellow demonstrators - called The Stampin' Pretty Pals. I came up with the challenge, which was to be inspired by wrapping paper from The Container Store. I am a true paper fan (ok, hoarder)... whether it's gift wrap, card stock, or designer series paper. I just can't get enough of it.
I chose this gift wrap for my starting point. I really like a bit of non-traditional colors in my Christmas.
I started my card my cutting a piece of Stampin' Up! Silver card stock. I then randomly stamped the snowflake from the "Snow Swirled" stamp set. The ink colors I used are Real Red, Gable Green, and Pacific Point (current In Color).
Now, please ignore my smudges as this was one of my first experiences stamping onto a shiny card stock. NOTE TO SELF: Let ink dry before trying to add embellishment - like the Real Red grosgrain ribbon on this card - LOL!
Despite the smudges, I am still happy with the outcome. I think it's a fun and unique Christmas card that I would be proud to send to any family member or friend.
Watch your mailbox - this card (one without smudges) may be coming to you!
Check back later today, I may have some more details for you regarding the Holiday Extravaganza Sale.

WOW! I love how this turned out. Very pretty. That is definately my favorite holiday set of the year and I have made tons of samples using it. Just have not had a chance to post them all but they are coming! I love the colors you used and it is neat to see them against the silver paper. Did you use the regular ink pads or did you have to use the craft ink?? Thanks for sharing, great job!!!

No smudges on my computer either. I love it and your take on the wrapping paper is spot on! Can't wait to play. Hugs, Mary
