So, today felt like a non-Stampin' Up! kind of day for my blog.
As much as I love, love, love Stampin' Up! product, I also have other brands of paper and accessories to work with.
It's a bit embarrassing to say, but I have an entire rolling Making Memories Runway Roller full of Basic Grey papers. The only reason it's embarrassing is that I don't use it!! I'm a paper hoarder and I admit it... Basic Grey has such beautiful collections, I just can't pass them up.
This particular creation uses the designer papers from the "Sultry" collection. The flower print is called "Dressy" and the stripe is "Fashionable". The base of the card uses Stampin' Up!'s Gable Green cardstock and is stamped with the sentiment from the "Heard From the Heart" stamp set.
My bee comes from Papertrey Ink, the Honey Bee's set. A little Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon (Stampin' Up!) finishes things off - can't stray from Stampin' Up! completely {smile}.
Oh what I wouldn't do to own each and every collection from Basic Grey. At one time it was my goal to have them all, but then I discovered Stampin' Up! and went the route of becoming a demonstrator. Which I LOVE!!!
