Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it. ~William Arthur Ward
My husband and I are hosting Thanksgiving in our home this Thursday. We will be joined by immediate family to enjoy a catered traditional turkey dinner. I am looking forward to a delicious meal and spending time with the most important people in my life.
I want to set the table in a way that allows us to sit down as a group. I chose to go with a gold, brown & green theme instead of traditional autumn colors (orange, brown, etc...).
I bought a really pretty candle holder to hold gold beaded candles, some sparkly pine cones, this gold & green wreath and doorknob bell. I plan to use a ivory tablecloth and scatter the pine cones about the table.
I drew my inspiration for the Top Note Thank You favors from these home decor items. On each glass plate, I'll place a favor as a note of thanks for my family. Inside is a yummy Ghiradelli chocolate square. I bought a bag that had three different flavors for variety because everyone has different tastes, right?
The Top Note die from Stampin' Up! is so versatile. Not only can you make cute favors like these, but you can also make treat bag toppers, or even decorate cards. Take a look at the Splitcoast Gallery (keyword Top Note) to get even more creative ideas.
Check out the Big Shot Brochure for more details on the Top Note (and other) die. The Top Note die is one of many exclusive Stampin' Up! dies.

Your thank you note cards are so clever! They would work for some many occasions; now I have something else to make......yikes!
