Check out these pink ladies! My Mom (far right) and her friends are celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month today in her office.
The note cards and envelopes I am sharing today are what you can find on the inside of yesterday's Kreation.
Check out THIS POST to see the note card portfolio I created.
The portfolio was created out of two size A2 envelopes and houses these cute note cards. A step-by-step tutorial will be provided later (November).
When I was making this project, I was thinking of my Mom's battle with breast cancer.
The words from the stamp set "Sweet Serendipity" seemed to be a perfect fit to describe her journey (see stamp images at end of post).
I feel that my Mom has taken on an Adventure since being diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast cancer 2 years ago, and since been diagnosed with bone cancer.
There is a sense of Serenity that seemed to follow her Adventure; the up's and down's, and finally a bit of Laughter.
You may be wondering if your eyes are going buggy when you look at my stamp technique (click each image to enlarge). However, I created this effect on purpose. I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp in one color first, then stamped the second image in a different color slightly askew.
The colors I used are Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, & Kiwi Kiss.
