What is better than a Recipe for Love? Over the weekend I broke out my "From the Kitchen of" stamp set that was so generously given to me by my Aunt Mary. Thank You, Mary! This is such a fun set to work with.
Now, I am not the cook in our household - my husband is (I know, super awesome, huh?). So, this stamp set for me is the perfect tool for making gifts. I wanted to alter a cute recipe card holder and decided that the Urban Garden designer series paper was the perfect choice for this project.
When I make a card or a project, I usually just "wing" it and let the project take on a life of it's own. And that is exactly what I did this time, too. One thing that is a constant, is that I start by choosing my color palate first or choose a designer paper and then run with coordinating colors.
The paper colors always come first for me because I LOVE paper. Urban Garden coordinates with Basic Grey, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze & Not Quite Navy Stampin' Up! colors. Check out this one page reference chart to help you coordinate designer series paper with card stock and ink.
This recipe set is pretty self explanatory ... so instead of laying out the details, I am going to let the photos speak for themselves (please click to enlarge). However, please Contact Me if you have any questions about this project or anything else relating to Stampin' Up!
You can see a close up of the card, by visiting my Kreations Gallery.
As always, thanks for Buzzing by my Blog!

Too cool! What a great use of that set; I'm going to forward today's blog to one of my friends that has the set but hasn't used it yet. I'm sure it will inspire her!
