Today's Kreation titled "Triple Treat" was completed for SCS Featured Stamper challenge (FS72). FYI, you may need to be a member of SCS to view certain galleries. I CASE'd (Copy & Share for Everyone) Diane's card, which you can see here. I stuck to her layout pretty tightly and used the same stamp set "Tart & Tangy", but changed the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and color scheme.
As much as I love Diane's brights, I stepped outside my comfort zone and used a softer color palate that includes Afternoon Tea DSP, Soft Sky, and Wild Wasab cardstock. The Afternoon Tea DSP is from the current Occasions Mini Collection 2008, which expires June 30th!! Personally, I plan to purchase a few favorites from this catalog, before it's too late.
For each stamped image, I used my Stampin' Up! corner rounder to keep things "soft" and accentuated each lime's center with a Robin's Nest Dew Drop. The Wild Wasabi cardstock took a spin through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder. You'll notice in my Kreations, that I favor the Swiss Dots design. To finish the card, I tied off a piece of Certainly Celery wide grosgrain ribbon and inked the triple Wish Big sentiment in Wild Wasabi (Wish Big is from the "Short & Sweet" stamp set).
NOTE: View my exclusive Kween Bee Kreations promotions to see how you can get snippets of Afternoon Tea DSP AND Summer Picnic DSP.
