NOTE: Be sure to read yesterday's post for a few KBK Promotions and a sneak peek into the Fall/Winter Idea Book & Catalog.
Currently, I only own Whisper White Craft Ink. You would normally heat emboss using a Craft Ink Pad not a Classic Ink Pad. Rather than purchase the Craft Ink Pads in every color right now, my solution is to use this method to heat emboss using Classic Ink Pads and Versamark.
TUTORIAL: Heat Embossing Using Classic Ink & Versamark
PART ONE:
Step 1 - Gather your supplies
- Stamp-a-ma-jig (SAMJ Tutorial)
- Classic Ink
- Versamark
- Stampin' Emboss Powder
- Heat Tool
- Paper
- Stampin' Scrub & Stampin' Mist
Step 2 - Ink your image in the Classic Ink of your choice
Step 3 - Stamp image onto the Stamp-a-ma-jig's plastic sheet
Step 4 - Using the Stamp-a-ma-jig, position your image and stamp onto the paper where you want the image to lie.
Step 5 - Clean your stamp using the Stampin' Scrub & Stampin' Mist
PART TWO:
Step 6 - Ink Image in Versamark Ink
Step 7 - Align image a second time using the Stamp-a-ma-jig and stamp Versamark inked image directly over the existing image in Classic Ink.
Step 8 - Sprinkle Stampin' Emboss Powder (liberally) over your Versamarked image.
Step 9 - Use the Heat Tool to set the Stampin' Emboss Powder, it will turn to a shiny finish when complete.
Final result: Heat embossed image
