I used a tutorial created by Beate Johns, which you can find right here, on Splitcoastampers.com. I have always loved the look of this style of cards. They really give your artwork added personality.
From the different views of Designer Series Paper, to the custom belly band and insert - this card's got it goin' on.
I created this fun birthday card for my step-son's girlfriend. She's 14 and I thought the Sunny Garden Designer Series Paper was a perfect fit for a girl her age. Adding to the feminine look, I used the Broadsheet Alphabet Stamp Set to spell out her name on the belly band.
